Engineering

Engineering is the practical application of science and math to solve problems, and it extends everywhere in this world. From computer chips and satellites to medical devices and renewable energy technologies, engineering makes modern life possible.

Courses for the Associate of Engineering Science (AES) will be held in a first-of-its-kind facility at the TCCI EV + Energy STEM Workforce Academy. Students complete a full academic program inside a working factory—allowing them to study calculus, physics, object-oriented programming, statics, and thermodynamics in the exact same environment where those technologies are being applied.

Upon graduation, students will have received the foundational STEM coursework to easily transfer to many top Illinois institutions.
