After a hiatus in 2020 due to COVID-19, Richland is excited to announce that it is bringing back its Farmers Market with some new changes. The Richland Farmers Market will now be held every Tuesday evening from 5pm-7:30pm from June 1 through September 28, next to the Richland Bistro Five Thirty Seven restaurant, on the west side of campus.

The market will be a collaboration with the restaurant, which is operated by the Culinary Arts Institute students. It will coincide with Tuesday’s dinner hours at the restaurant, allowing patrons to shop at the market and take advantage of many farm to table highlights featured throughout the season.

“This is a really unique opportunity for us to redesign the market to give the public something different, including a chance to sample what our Bistro has to offer. We listened to a lot of feedback from our past vendors and we are excited about offering the market on a Tuesday evening,” said Deanna Koenigs, Market Manager.

More information will become available soon so please be sure to mark your calendars and watch for highlights on at www.richland.edu/richlandmarket. Interested vendors can contact Market Manager, Deanna Koenigs, at dkoenigs@richland.edu or (217) 875-7211, Ext. 6442.
