Apply for Graduation

Log into your myRichland account, and follow these steps:

• • Click My Student Info.

• • Go to My Degree Info.

• • Choose Application for Graduation.

If you plan to participate in the ceremony you will need to place a cap, gown, and tassel order (at no cost) by March 19, 2026, along with completing our graduate survey.

Cap and gown orders can be placed online at: https://www.jostens.com/apps/store/customer/1075451/Richland-Community-College/

Order instructions:

• Scroll down and click on Graduation Products – Shop
• Scroll down and click Graduation Caps & Gowns – Shop
• In the drop-down box for Select a Collection choose Student Spring Grad
• Click Associates Cap, Gown, Tassel w/Yeardate Charm
• Enter your height and weight then click Add to Cart
• Enter your first and last name and click Checkout
• Click Continue as a Guest
• Enter name, email, city, state, and zip then click Continue,
• On the Order Summary screen SCROLL DOWN and click submit order
• Watch for your email confirmation. If you do not receive an email confirmation of your order, the order has not been successfully placed. Keep your email confirmation! 
• Jostens offers a variety of additional items that graduates can purchase. Those items will be shipped to your home address. Contact Jostens with any questions about those products.

Richland’s Student Success team will host the 2026 Grad Fair in the Shilling Community Education Center Salons on Tuesday, April 21 (9 AM – 1 PM) and Wednesday, April 22 (1 PM – 5 PM).

There, along with your cap and gown, you could also receive:

• • Richland alumni t-shirt (only available for those who complete the graduate survey)

• • Kente stole (if ordered through graduate survey)

• • Veterans cords (if ordered through graduate survey)

• • Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) stole (if ordered through contacting Teena Zindel-McWilliams)

• • Honors cords (if graduating with honors)

They will even have space for you to decorate your cap and get more information about graduation day!

If you missed the deadline, please email graduation@richland.edu by May 8, 2026, so we can assist you.

• Transcripts: Degrees and certificates will be posted within approximately 3 weeks after final grades are processed. Official transcripts may be requested online at: https://www.parchment.com/
• Diplomas: Diplomas will be mailed to the home address on file approximately 60–90 days after your graduating semester ends. If you need to update your address, please email records@richland.edu.
