The growing field of early childhood education includes many different job opportunities. Regardless of the position sought, persons considering a degree in early childhood education should enjoy working with children and have a strong desire to help them learn and succeed.

A career in dance isn't necessarily limited to being a dance performer. An exploration of various dance related careers can help students develop an awareness and appreciation for the cooperation needed to produce a performance, as well as the variety of careers associated with dance. Some other dance-related careers include artistic directors, choreographers, and rehearsal directors, and there are a variety of careers in dance that also cross over into music and theatre. 

You're creative. You love to draw, paint, sculpt, write, take pictures, or design. But what does it take to have a career as an artist? There are a multitude of career options available for people with an interest in art. Artists can typically be categorized into four groups:

A concentration in African-American Studies is comparable to concentrations in history, sociology, philosophy, and anthropology, with an added multicultural component. It is an exellent background preparation for many careers, including teaching, law, business, public policy, community work, etc.

Associate of Applied Science in Office Technology                 

The Office Technology Instructional Area offers an Administrative Assistant degree with concentrations in accounting, legal, or general office and a Medical Office Specialist Degree with concentrations in coding, medical transcription, or medical office. Students wishing to earn either of the AAS Degrees must complete the required Office Technology and Business courses and 15 credit hours of group requirements.

Information Technology (IT) is defined as using computers and software to manage information. In some companies, this is referred to as Management Information Services (or MIS) or simply as Information Services (or IS). The information technology department of a large company would be responsible for storing information, protecting information, processing the information, transmitting the information as necessary, and later retrieving information as necessary.
