Student Success Programs

The following Student Success programs are available to students who qualify. 

Success.net

Success.net is a referral and remediation program that allows instrutors to identify and advise students who may be having academic difficulities. Success.net is designed to be informative, direct, and non-threatening for students.

PASSport Workshops

Pathway to Achieving Student Success Workshops are designed to familiarize students with the resources available at Richland Community College and to help participants learn how to be a successful student. Workshops are free for all students, but space is limited, so sign up early.

E.S.P. (Emerging Scholar Program)

E.S.P. is for students who are in need of additional support services to maintain academic excellence. E.S.P. provides College Survival Skills Workshops, one-on-one personalized support, referrals to academic support services and peer support groups.

AWARE (Adults Who Are Reentering Education) 

AWARE is a program designed to provide support for adults who are beginning their college career by offering one-on-one personalized support, specialized academic skills workshop, personal counseling, career exploration, and peer support groups.

S.O.S. (Start Out Successful)

S.O.S. is a program for high school students in need of supplementary academic support and guidance in their first semester of college. S.O.S. provides assistance in advising, course selection, college skills workshops, and referral to other specialized services.
