Application Procedure

  • Applications will be accepted until positions are filled, but are accepted only when there is a vacancy.
  • Applications for part-time instructors are accepted at any time.
  • Interested applicants should forward a cover letter, employment application, résumé, and copies of transcripts to the Richland Community College Human Resources Department.
  • Submit a completed application for each position for which you are applying, along with a letter of interest and résumé. Unofficial transcripts are required for certain positions. Please refer to the job announcement for additional requirements.
  • Résumés must be accompanied by a completed Richland Community College Employment Application. Statements on application form indicating "See Résumé" are not acceptable.
  • Applications forms are available in the RCC Human Resources Office. You may request an employment application by calling (217) 875-7211, extension 218, or you can download an employment application.

Employment materials can be submitted by mail or e-mail.

Applications can be printed to be completed manually, or completed electronically on your computer.

To complete an electronic copy, enter your information in the appropriate fields on the form. You can then print the form to be signed and sent to the address listed above with the additional information requested.

If you have Adobe Acrobat ® (not just Adobe Reader ®) you can fill out and save the employment application and submit it electronically. Attach the employment application, your résumé, and your letter of interest in an e-mail to hr@richland.edu. Please indicate in the subject of the e-mail the position for which you are applying.
