Massey Ferguson Gifts Tractor to Richland Community College

Decatur, IL – On August 25, Massey Ferguson – a worldwide brand of AGCO – gifted a new tractor to Richland Community College as part of a partnership that goes back ten years.

In 2015, Massey Ferguson – a worldwide brand of AGCO – gave Richland a smaller tractor for a 10-year period in exchange for services, assessments, and brand awareness. Richland maintains their permanent lot in the Farm Progress campus year-round. Meanwhile, students gain experience working with their equipment, and the maintenance team uses it around campus for snow plowing, landscaping and other projects.

The new tractor is a Massey Ferguson 2M.60, which is a new model this year. It has four-wheel drive, power steering, and a cab with air conditioning. This 60-horsepower compact utility tractor has a loader and will be equipped with a snow broom attachment for the winter. Like the last tractor, it will be utilized on campus for the next 10 years.
