Richland Community College District No. 537 (RCC) was organized in 1972 under the guidelines of the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB). RCC is a public educational institution governed by a locally elected board.
How to Request Information
It is the intent of Richland Community College to comply with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1). In accordance with the Act, requests are to be submitted in writing by personal delivery, mail, fax or email to the attention of:

Copying Fees
No fees may be charged for the first 50 pages of black and white, letter or legal sized copies.
All costs for copying materials will be charged to the requestor at the rate of six (6) cents per letter size sheet, seven (7) cents per legal size sheet, and ten ( 10) cents per I I”x 17″ sheet.
If the college provides copies in color or in a size other than letter or legal, the college can charge the actual cost for reproducing the records.
When other copy fees are authorized by statute, a public body may charge those fees instead of the section 5 ILCS I40/6(b) fees.
Electronic Fees
The College must produce records that are maintained in an electronic format in the electronic format specified by the requester, if feasible.
If not feasible, the College must disclose in the electronic format in which the records are maintained or in paper, at the option of the requester.
The College may only charge the requester for the actual cost of purchasing the recording medium, whether disc, diskette, tape, or other medium.
Statutory fees applicable to copies of public records when furnished in a paper format shall not be applicable to those records when furnished in an electronic format.
