James and the Giant Peach
from the book by Roald Dahl
adapted for the stage by David Wood
This delightful take begins in New York in the years after James and his bug friends (Old Green Grasshopper, Miss Spider, Ladybug, Centipede, and Earthworm) have been living in the giant peach pit in Central Park.
James and his insect friends, with the help of some very resourceful “ant-sistants,” tell the audience the tale of how they met, the giant peach, and their adventure over the sea.
