Fitness Classes & Intramural Sports
Are you into group fitness? Richland’s Fitness Center has you covered! We offer free weekly fitness classes (open to the public) and intramural sports (including disc golf, basketball, and more).
Current Classes Include:
 
    
    Zumba
Mondays
5:30-6:30 PM
Each Zumba® class – instructed by Kelsy Whitney – is designed to take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
 
    
    Power Half-Hour Fitness Class
Tuesdays
4:30-5:00 PM
If you’re interested in improving your fitness level, stamina, endurance, and strength, join this group fitness class. The class will include a blend of exercises that incorporate plyometrics, HIIT, strength training, core and cardio.
 
    
    Yoga
Wednesdays
5:30-6:30 PM
This Yoga class is a great way to improve flexibility, your mind/body connection, muscle tone, breathing and mental health.
 
    
    Self-Defense
Thursdays
3:00-4:00 PM
This class is taught by an instructor with 4 black belts in martial arts. You will learn various martial arts and self-defense techniques you can use to protect yourself from an attacker.
 
    
    Boxing 101
Thursdays
4:30 PM
This course teaches the science of boxing by introducing you to fundamental techniques. It is instructed by Natu Visinia, a former Pro-Boxer & MMA Fighter with over 20 years of experience.
 
    
    Fitness Boxing
Thursdays
5:30 PM
This course combines technical boxing skills and effective fitness strategies to help individuals improve physical conditioning. It is instructed by Natu Visinia, a former Pro-Boxer & MMA Fighter with over 20 years of experience.
