Tutoring

The Student Learning Center (SLC) offers free tutoring to students who may need help with classes or programs. Both faculty and peer tutors are available on an appointment or walk-in basis for many academic areas including math, biology, chemistry, reading comprehension, study skills, vocabulary building, and research, and for specific written assignments.

Assistance is given in research paper strategies using MLA and APA documentation and on-line research. The SLC also offers on-campus study groups each semester, some conducted by faculty and some by peer tutors. Study group schedules, with time and location, are posted in Room S118.
