Richland Community College Perkins CTE Student Support Grant Application
The Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) is a federal program that supports rigorous Career & Technical programs that prepare students for high-skill, in-demand careers. Each semester, a limited amount of Perkins CTE Student Support Grant funds may be made available to help Richland students overcome specific barriers to success. These funds range in value between $50-400 depending on the specific barrier, but circumstances of dire need are considered. Applications are not accepted in the month of June. Perkins CTE Student Support Grant funds typically are awarded for specific equipment, supplies, required uniforms, travel support, or textbooks. The Perkins CTE Support Grant funds the rental/loaning of textbooks and equipment that must be returned to Richland.
