Richland Community College is lowering the barrier to earning a basic or advanced certificate in Early Childhood Education by providing the Early Childhood Access Consortium for Equity (ECACE) Scholarship Program!

If you work or have worked in early childhood education and you’re seeking additional credentials and/or a degree in early childhood education, you may be eligible. ECACE was created to address the high demand for early childhood educators, advance racial equity and improve accessibility. Learn more about the scholarship here.

If accepted, you will receive benefits like:

  • Financial Assistance with Books/Supplies
  • Wrap-Around Support (Success Coach & Navigator will guide you through your degree.)
  • Technology for Online Coursework
  • ECACE Scholarship
  • Credit for Active CDA

Coursework includes online 16-week courses as well as accelerated 8-week hybrid courses that meet once a week at the Empowerment Opportunity Center (360 E Marietta St, Decatur, IL 62521).
