Air King Inc. Heating & Cooling Scholarship
- This scholarship is for tuition, fees, books, and/or supplies for students in the HVAC program. Students must have a GPA of 2.75 and may be full- or part-time. Financial need not considered. Scholarship may be awarded to the same student multiple times. Instructor input is required.
Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, or equipment awarded to eligible students enrolled in HVAC, Construction Management, Engineering, or other energy-focused degree or certificate programs. Preference given to minority students, women, veterans, previously incarcerated. and first-generation students. Students may be enrolled full or part-time.
American Legion Post 105 Book Scholarship
- Scholarship for any veteran or their dependent seeking a degree or certificate from Richland. Scholarship for tuition, books, fees, or required supplies/equipment. Recipients may be full-or part-time with a cumulative GPA of 2.50.
Andreas Family Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, and supplies awarded to a student pursuing a degree or certificate in horticulture or agriculture, or a related field. Student may be full- or part-time. Recipients must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher and maintain a 2.0 GPA to be eligible for the scholarship in subsequent semesters.
Albert M. Andreas Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition only, awarded to a student pursuing a degree in horticulture or agriculture. Student must be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours, have a 2.75 GPA, and complete all courses in semester for which funding is provided.
Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) Endowed Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, or equipment awarded to a student enrolled in degree or occupational training programs related to Agribusiness, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Physical & Natural Sciences and Welding. Students may be full or part time, but must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, have a 2.0 GPA, and complete all courses in the semester for which funding is provided.
Arends Family Endowed Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books or required supplies/equipment for a student pursuing a degree in Career & Technical Education or participating in a Workforce Development Program. Students may be enrolled full or part-time and must have a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to returning students.
Keith Ashby Memorial Endowed Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, and/or supplies and equipment. Awarded to students enrolled in hospitality management or the culinary arts program at Richland. May be enrolled full or part-time. Must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Preference given to student currently employed in the food service industry and those with financial need.
Association of Facilities Engineers Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books for a student enrolled full-time and pursuing a four-year degree in engineering, science, or a technology curriculum. Recipients should have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0, must have completed at least one semester of study at Richland Community College, and may not have previously received an AFE Chapter 126 Scholarship.
Duane and Joan Avis Endowed Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books awarded to a student seeking a degree or certificate. Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, have a 3.25 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, and demonstrate a financial need.
Donald and Joanne Baird Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books awarded to a student pursuing a major in the Agricultural Program. If sufficient requests for agricultural scholarships are not met, then the next priority is to grant scholarships to students majoring in the Nursing Program and then to natural science majors. Student must be enrolled in at least 6 hours of 100 level classes and have a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 to be eligible for scholarship awards in future semesters.
T.S. and Juanita Ballance Foundation Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and/or books. Students may be enrolled full-time or part-time, but must complete all courses for the semester in which funding is provided. Scholarships to be awarded to students based on need. Students must have a 2.0 GPA or have successfully completed a GED program.

- Scholarship for students registered for a CDL Class A or Class B course. Scholarships to be awarded to students based on need. Students must have a 2.0 GPA or have successfully completed a GED program.
George M. Barnett and Emerald Ritchie Barnett Education Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and/or books awarded to a student studying agricultural-related coursework. If a scholarship cannot be awarded, then to a student majoring in business. Students may be enrolled full- or part-time and have a 2.50 cumulative GPA.
Ritchie G. and Sandra T. Barnett Endowed Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and/or books awarded to a student with a Business Major. Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, and have a 2.50 cumulative GPA.
Barbara Jean Bechtel Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books awarded to a student attending Richland and enrolled in any of the Richland nursing programs. Recipients may be enrolled full- or part-time. A cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required. Preference given to students with financial need and those who plan to continue their education in the Millikin University nursing program after graduation from Richland. If sufficient requests for nursing scholarships are not met, then the next priority is to grant scholarships to students majoring in the natural sciences.
Darrell and Ursula Beck Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books to a recent graduate of St. Teresa High School who will be attending Richland Community College. Priority will be given to a student enrolled in electronics, dance, theatre, or speech classes. Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours, must maintain a 2.75 GPA, and must complete all courses for the semester in which funding is provided. Scholarship may be renewed but requires application and is restricted to Richland Community College.
Boys and Girls Club Scholarship
- Scholarship to be used for tuition, fees, or books for a degree-seeking student. First preference is given to any current or former member in good standing with the Boys and Girls Club. If no members of the Boys and Girls Club apply, preference will be given to a minority student or a student with financial need. Open to full- or part-time students at Richland Community College with a cumulative GPA of 2.5. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours of 100 level courses or above. Course completion required.
Brandon Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books. Students may be enrolled full- or part-time, but must complete all courses for the semester in which funding is provided. Scholarship to be awarded to students based on need and to those who do not qualify for Federal Pell Grant or Illinois MAP grant. Students must maintain a 2.75 GPA.
Gilbert Breighner Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition to a student pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) or Practical Nursing (PN) or Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA). Students must be accepted into the Richland Community College Nursing Program or enrolled in the CNA program. Students may be enrolled full- or part-time and must maintain a 2.75 GPA.

- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, or supplies. Students must be full-time. Students must have a 3.0 GPA or GED certification. Scholarship will be offered to eligible students enrolled in the Radiography program at Richland.

Howard E. and Helen R. Brown Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books, awarded to a recent graduate of Meridian High School who will be attending Richland Community College. Must be a full- or part-time student with a minimum of 6 credit hours of 100-level courses or above per semester beginning the semester following graduation. A cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required. Student may be pursuing a degree or certificate.
Violet Buchter-Goken Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books for those accepted in the nursing program at RCC; preference to residents of small towns in Macon County, plus Stonington, Moweaqua, and Assumption and those with financial need. Students may be enrolled full- or part-time and should have a 3.0 GPA.
Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois, SC, Charitable Fund Scholarship
- A scholarship for tuition, fees, books, or supplies awarded to a student, full-time or part-time, enrolled in a health care program. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA. Student must complete all courses for the semester in which funding is approved. Preference given to students with demonstrated financial need, those with interest in oncology-related fields, and those planning to work in Illinois. Students must have a high school diploma or GED.
Dell and Evelyn Carroll Scholarship
- Scholarship for standard tuition (unless only offered online) for up to 60 credit hours awarded to students attending Richland Community College who are graduates of Meridian High School. Students must be enrolled the semester immediately following their high school graduation and remain continually enrolled. The scholarship covers classes that could lead to the completion of a degree or certificate, summer classes are not eligible. Pell awards are applied before scholarship. Students may be enrolled full- or part-time. Recipients must have a 2.0 high school GPA and maintain a 2.5 GPA at Richland to be eligible for the scholarship in subsequent semesters. Student must pay for any classes covered by the scholarship that are dropped or withdrawn. Developmental classes may be covered. There is no minimum hour per semester requirement. Student must not be receiving full federal financial aid.

- Scholarship for tools for students in the automotive program, with preference given to students in the collision program.
Community Foundation of Macon County CDL Scholarship
- Scholarship for students enrolled in the CDL program at Richland. Students must be 24 years old or older and have lived in Macon County for a least the past year. Students must have earned a high school diploma or a GED certificate and have a gap of at least three years before pursuing a CDL certificate. Financial need is considered when determining award recipients.
Stuart Coon Endowed Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books for all degree or certificate-seeking students enrolled at Richland Community College. May be full- or part-time with a cumulative GPA of 2.5, preference given to students demonstrating a financial need. Student must be a graduate of Clinton High School.
David Cooper Memorial Culinary Arts Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and books. Students may be enrolled full-time or part-time. This scholarship will be awarded to a Culinary Student in their final semester of pursuing an AAS degree and has received a recommendation by the Program Director. Student must have a 2.5 GPA. May also be used for culinary supplies and/or uniforms.

Brenda K. Garrett Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, or childcare, for a student who completed the Richland Community College GED Program, and is seeking a degree at Richland Community College. Scholarships will be presented at the GED graduation ceremony.

- Scholarship for tuition or fees for students in any medical field of study. Student may be full- or part-time with a minimum of 6 credit hours. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is required.
Glenn Family Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition at Richland Community College (no summers). Student must plan to transfer to the Millikin University PACE (Flexible Learning) program to pursue an accelerated degree in the areas of Accounting (B.S.), Criminal Justice (B.S.), Early Childhood Education (B.S.), Elementary Education (B.S.), Nursing (R.N. to B.S.N.), Organizational Leadership (B.S.) or other future accelerated degree programs. Richland student must be 24 years of age or older, have 3 years of work experience, have earned at least 30 transferable credits at Richland, and plan to transfer to Millikin immediately following graduation. Student must also maintain a GPA of 3.0 while enrolled at Richland. Tuition assistance at Millikin University also will be awarded; up to $2,000 per year. Student must be continuously enrolled in one of the accelerated programs offered. Student must continue to maintain a GPA of 3.0. Scholarship does not cover courses outside the accelerated program, books, academic/technology fees, or out-of-district fees.

Eligible students may be enrolled full- or part-time but must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester. Must be enrolled in 100-level or above courses to receive the scholarship. Applicants must be pursuing a degree, must maintain a 2.75 GPA, and must complete all courses for the period in which funding is provided.
Klarner Transfer Scholarship
- A portion of the dividends available each year from the Klarner Endowment will be available to Richland Community College graduates transferring to four-year Illinois public universities, with preference given to Klarner Scholars. This scholarship is for one semester and may be renewed upon re-application. Must be accepted as a junior at an Illinois public university and have proven financial need as certified by the Financial Aid Office at the University. Students must be full-time enrolled in an academic program approved for Klarner Scholars (engineering, mathematics, information technology, computer science, electronics, or any biological or physical science field), and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75.
Klisares Vocational Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, or equipment for a student studying in the areas of industrial machining, electronics, engineering technologies, drafting, refrigeration, or welding. May be full- or part-time with a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Elmer and Marilyn Kostenski Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books awarded to a student attending Richland Community College. The student can be full- or part-time with a minimum of 6 credit hours. A student must have completed one semester at Richland with a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher. Preference is given to students planning to major in Education, Agriculture, Horticulture, or Nursing. Preference will be given to residents of Macon and Piatt County. Preference given to students not eligible for full gift aid as determined by the FAFSA.
Janet Little Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, books, or fees for all majors. Preference is given to students who were enrolled or graduated from the Special Education Alternative Program (SEAP). Students may be enrolled full- or part-time and have a 2.0 or higher GPA.
Livasy Family Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition and fees, available for all majors. May be full- or part-time, a cumulative GPA of 2.0 is required. Preference to students with financial need.
Horace G. Livingston, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
- This scholarship is awarded to students with demonstrated financial need who are graduates of any high school in the city of Decatur. Preference is to be given to those with a strong desire to attend Richland Community College, but whose families lack the means to provide part or all of the tuition for them. The scholarship is need-based and not necessarily based on academic excellence. Students must be pursuing a degree. Scholarship covers tuition, books, and/or required learning resources.
Charles Mack Memorial Scholarship for Returning Adults
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and books awarded to a student who is returning to school at least two years following high school or who recently completed a GED program (Age 20 or older). Students must be enrolled in a minimum of one class at Richland Community College. Students must not be receiving traditional forms of federal and state financial aid to qualify for the scholarship. Preference may be given to older vets who have been injured or disabled in the course of their service and have special financial needs. No minimum GPA for initial applicants and scholarship may be renewable if the student achieves a minimum C average (good academic standing) in classes completed during the semester of the first award. Some exceptions to this minimum GPA may be considered if the Foundation representative, in consultation with academic personnel, determines that the student is making good academic progress and is expected to bring the GPA up to the minimum in the second semester.
Macon County Lady Landowners Scholarship
- Scholarship for books. Student must be enrolled full-time with a cumulative GPA of 2.50. Award is for a second-year student majoring in agriculture or horticulture.
Macon County Medical Society Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books awarded to students studying in the medical fields. Recipients may be full-or part-time with a cumulative GPA of 2.75. Preference to students with financial need.
Masonic Macon Lodge #8 Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books. Students must be recent graduates from a Decatur high school. Applicants must have a “C” average in high school and have shown some service to school and/or community. Students must be enrolled full-time, must maintain a 2.0 GPA each semester, and musts complete all courses started at the beginning of the semester to remain eligible.
John Eugene McCoy II Scholarship
- This scholarship is awarded to a student with proven need who is majoring in accounting or business administration. Students must be graduates of Stephen Decatur High School or if SDHS no longer exists, a graduate of any high school in the city of Decatur. Preference is to be given to those with a strong desire to attend Richland Community College, but whose families lack the means to provide part or all of the tuition for them. The scholarship is need-based and not necessarily based on academic excellence. Students must be pursuing a degree. Scholarship covers tuition, books, and/or required learning resources.
McMillen-Green Family Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books awarded to a student who is a parent of minor children. Student may be enrolled full- or part-time and must have a 2.75 GPA. Preference given to students with financial need.
James Millikin Estate Tuition or Book Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition and books for full or part-time students (enrolled in a minimum of two classes – one of which must be 100-level or above) who are residents of Decatur, ineligible for full gift aid as determined by the FAFSA. Courses below the 100-level may be funded. However, repeats of courses below 100-level will not be considered.
James Millikin Estate Special Fund for Nursing Essentials
- One time award for students in the Registered Nursing Program for non-book essentials and other learning supplements. Student must be a resident of Decatur, ineligible for full gift aid as determined by FAFSA. A GPA of 2.5 is required.
Arlene G. Mills Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, and equipment/supplies awarded to students pursuing an AAS degree or technical program certificate. Students must be full-time. Preference given to students with need.
Mueller Company Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books. Students must be a son or daughter of a Mueller Company employee. Student must have already completed 12+ semester hours of accredited college work and must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours of 100-level or above courses to receive the scholarship. Open to all majors. Students may only receive the scholarship once during his/her tenure at RCC. Applicants must be pursuing a two-year degree. Scholarship recipient based on academics, financial need, and other scholarships awarded to applicants.
National City Bank Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition to a Richland Community College student with a 2.75 cumulative GPA or greater, and financial need. Must be a full-time student enrolled in any degree program and planning to pursue a four-year degree.
Noon Kiwanis Club Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, or equipment. Open to students in all majors. Students may be enrolled full or part-time.
Chuck and Mary Jo Novak Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition awarded to a Richland Community College student majoring in education. Student must be full- or part-time with a declared major in education. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 out of 4.0 and enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours of 100-level courses or above each semester.
The Off and Running Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, and/or supplies. Students must reside in DeWitt County and must have a GED certificate or high school diploma. Students may be enrolled full or part-time and must have a 2.0 GPA. Open to all majors with preference to students with financial need. Funded by the Write Stuff for Kids.
James B. Parson Scholarship
- This scholarship is awarded to students with demonstrated financial need who are graduates of any high school in the city of Decatur. P.E.O. Roundtable Scholarship
- Scholarship for books; awarded to a female living in Macon County, with preference given to those with proven financial need. Student may be full- or part-time with a minimum of 6 credit hours of 100-level courses. A cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required.
Periman Scholarship for Accounting
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books awarded to a student majoring in accounting or business. Student may be full- or part-time and must maintain a 2.5 GPA. Preference given to students with financial need.
Neil E. and Helen W. Pistorius Scholarship Endowment
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, and/or equipment awarded to a student who is enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester and maintains a 2.5 or higher grade point average after each grading period. Open to all majors.
Cary Platzbecker Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, and equipment awarded to a student who is enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester. May be enrolled full or part-time. Students must demonstrate financial need. Open to all majors.
Lowell Price Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books awarded to a student in engineering. Student must enrolled full-time and pursuing a degree in engineering, science, or a technology curriculum. Recipients must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, must have completed at least one semester of study at Richland Community College and must not have previously received a Price Scholarship.
Richland Adjunct Federation of Teachers Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, and/or supplies for students majoring in Education with a 2.0 or higher GPA. Students may be full- or part-time, with preference to students who do not qualify for Pell or MAP. Award not to exceed $500 per semester.
Richland Community College Bookstore Scholarship
- Scholarship for books. Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5. May be full or part-time.
Rockey Family Education Scholarship
- The scholarship is created to advance opportunities for students of color interested in pursuing a teaching career. Preference given to those students that demonstrate an interest in teaching in Macon County. Students may be enrolled full or part-time and must have a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA. Scholarship may be used for tuition, fees, books, and/or supplies.
John and Sue Rogers Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition and awarded to a recent graduate of Clinton, Maroa-Forsyth, Argenta-Oreana, or Warrensburg-Latham High Schools. May be full- or part-time with a minimum of 6 credit hours of 100-level courses or above for the fall semester following graduation. A cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required. Amount of award will be determined by endowment income.
Frank Rolf Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books, awarded to an Agriculture or Horticulture student committed to continuing at the U of I in the College of ACES transfer program. Student may be full- or part-time with a minimum of 6 credit hours of 100-level courses. A GPA of 2.5 is required.
Everett Ryan Early Bird Kiwanis Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship awarded to students with a proven need who are pursuing a degree in education and are planning to become a teacher. Students must be graduates of Douglas MacArthur High School or if DMHS no longer exists, students must be a graduate of any high school in the city of Decatur. Preference is to be given to those with a strong desire to attend Richland Community College, but whose families lack the means to provide part or all of the tuition for them. The scholarship is need-based and not necessarily based on academic excellence. Students must be pursuing a degree. Scholarship covers tuition, books, and/or required learning resources.
Eleanor J. Saunders Memorial Endowed Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and/or books for either full-time or part-time students majoring in Accounting, Marketing, Finance, or Human Resources. Preference will be given to female students over age 19, who plan to pursue a career in business or plan to own a business someday. Additional consideration will be given to those who intend to engage in a student club or organization while enrolled as a Richland student. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required.
Walter and Alice Scherer Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition. Students must have a 2.5 GPA and may be enrolled full or part-time.
Scherer Honors Scholarship
- Scholarship provides up to two years tuition (60 credit hours) to current Richland students who have a 3.5 GPA for 12 or more semester hours in 100 level courses. Scholarship provides up to 30 credit hours per year (no summer school.) Credit hours supported by the scholarship are capped at 15 credits per semester. Recipients will be determined by a selection committee. Students must complete at least one Honors course per semester during year one and must complete an Honors course or Honors project each semester thereafter. Students may be full or part-time. After receiving the Walter and Alice Scherer Scholarship, students must maintain a 3.25 GPA. Students must complete all courses covered by the scholarship.
Roy O. Schilling Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books awarded to a student with preference to students who plan to major in education. Student may be enrolled full or part-time and must have a 2.5 GPA.
Dr. Joseph and Martha Schrodt Nursing Scholarship
- Tuition scholarship for a student pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) or a Practical Nursing (PN) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Students must be accepted into the Richland Community College Nursing Program or enrolled in the CNA program. Students may be enrolled full- or part-time and must have a 2.75 GPA.
Schwarze Family Nursing Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition available to nursing students. The scholarship is for a student who is already employed by DMH or St. Marys for at least a year and plans to stay in Decatur and work at either hospital in direct patient care. Student may be full- or part-time with a minimum of 6 credit hours of 100-level courses. A cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required.
Curtis and Patricia Sears Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition. Student may be enrolled full- or part-time. A minimum of six semester hours is required. Student must complete all courses in semester for which funding is provided, and must maintain a 2.75 GPA.
Emmett Sefton Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and/or books. Student must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, have a 2.0 GPA, and complete all courses in the semester for which funding is provided. This scholarship is open to all majors and certificates.
Jacqueline Scott Severns Nursing Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and/or books. Student must be accepted into the Richland Community College Nursing Program. Student may be enrolled full- or part-time, and must maintain a 2.75 GPA.
Senator Penny Severns Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books for a student pursuing a degree. For all majors. Available to full- or part-time students, but a minimum of six credit hours is required. Student must have 2.75 GPA and be enrolled in 100-level or above courses. Course completion required
Elizabeth Query Smith Endowed Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and/or books awarded to a Richland Community College student majoring in education. Student must be full- or part-time. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 or successfully completed a GED certificate. Student must have attended Decatur Public Schools District No. 61.
Travis Stanley Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books. Student must be pursuing a degree in the Engineering Technology Program. Student must also have attended Decatur Public or Private Schools and be a resident of Macon County. Student must be enrolled full-time with a minimum of 12 credit hours of 100-level courses and above. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is required.
Burl Stoner Decatur Frontiers Service Club Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, books, and required learning resources awarded to students with a proven need who are pursuing a degree. Students must be graduates of any high school in the city of Decatur. Preference is to be given to those with a strong desire to attend Richland Community College, but whose families lack the means to provide part or all of the tuition for them. Swarthout Business Leaders Endowed Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and/or books for students pursuing an Associate Degree with the intention of transferring after graduation to complete a Bachelor’s degree. Students may be enrolled full-time or part-time and must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Preference given to students who aspire to work in a business environment and those with financial need.
Al and Anne Swartz Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, available to all majors. May be full- or part-time with a minimum of 6 credit hours of 100-level courses. A cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required. Students must be residents of Macon County or DeWitt County.
Clarence Taylor Memorial Scholarship Early Bird Kiwanis Scholarship
- Scholarship awarded to a student with a proven need who is pursuing a degree in education and planning to become a teacher. - Scholarship for tuition, fees, and or books. Students must have completed at least 30 credit hours with a 2.75 cumulative GPA. A student may self-nominate by completing a brief application and letter of interest. The student’s application must also include a faculty or staff letter of reference that reflects how the student demonstrates grit in the classroom or in other activities within the College. At the time of application, students may be either full- or part-time Richland students.
Tsuda Family Endowed Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books, and/or supplies awarded to a student who is enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester. Students must complete all courses in the semester for which funding is provided. Students must show academic improvement to be considered eligible in future semesters.
Earl Tyus, Jr. Decatur Frontiers Service Club Scholarship
- Scholarship awarded to students with demonstrated financial need who are graduates of any high school in the city of Decatur. Preference is to be given to those with a strong desire to attend Richland Community College, but whose families lack the means to provide part or all of the tuition for them. The scholarships would be need-based and not necessarily based on academic excellence. The annual award is to be used to pay for tuition, academic textbooks, and/or required learning resources. The award is to be given to qualified students at any semester level at Richland Community College who are pursuing a degree.
John Ullrich Foundation Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books. Scholarship for those in the Macon, Moultrie, and Piatt counties. Students may be enrolled full- or part-time and must have a 3.0 GPA.
Leona Stanford Vollintine Charitable Trust Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and books to a full-time student pursuing a program of study leading to a career that promotes and assists the general public welfare. This may include, but is not limited to, curriculums in education, criminal justice, healthcare, business administration, engineering, and various areas of science-chemistry and physics. Recipients must be a citizen of the United States for a minimum of five years. Recipients must maintain an overall 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need. Eligible students must be enrolled in 100-level or above courses to receive the scholarship.
John Wagner / Intermet Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, and books. Scholarship awarded to a person demonstrating a past working relationship with the former Wagner Castings/Intermet plant in Decatur. Scholarship to be awarded to full or part-time students with priority to former Wagner employees or their descendants with a 2.5 GPA.
George and Lillian Walden Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition and fees. Must be a full-time student pursuing a degree in any field. Scholarship to be awarded based on need. Recipients must maintain a 2.75 GPA.
Warrensburg-Latham Farm Legacy Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, or books for graduates of Warrensburg-Latham High school. Any major will be eligible with preference to those in an agriculture major. May be full or part-time. Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0.
Francis and Alice Weir Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition. Student may be enrolled full- or part-time and must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
David P. and Eileen A. Wetzel Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books awarded to a student in mathematics, sciences, technology, social science, education, or child development areas of study. Student may be enrolled full or part-time and must have a 2.5 GPA.
Derek Anson Winchester Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, books and supplies awarded to students accepted into the LPN, LPN to Bridge, and RN programs. Students may be full or part time, with preference given to students with need. Scholarship is renewable until degree completion as long as student continues to meet eligibility requirements. A cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required.
Elfreda Virginia Jacobson Witzemen Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition, fees, learning resources, and/or books awarded to a student with proven need majoring in Office Technology or Information Technology. Students must be graduates of Decatur High School or if Decatur High School no longer exists, students must be a graduate of any high school in the city of Decatur, including Decatur Christian School. Preference is to be given to those with a strong desire to attend Richland Community College, but whose families lack the means to provide part or all of the tuition for them. The scholarship would be need-based and not necessarily based on academic excellence.
Wolf Carbon Solutions Scholarship
- Scholarship for tuition and fees for students enrolled in CCS 115, Intro to Carbon Capture & Storage, or CCS 275, Advanced Sequestration Applications.
