Join us this summer for the first annual Thinkwell Maker Camp, a collaboration between THINKWELL Makerspace, Industries and Richland Community College. THINKWELL Maker Camp is a week long (five day) makerspace camp for youth entering sixth, seventh, and eighth grades (middle school). It highlights key elements of STEM education, local history, and technological advancement while exploring the power of a makerspace as a creative tool.

The camp navigates and explores a selection of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, 3D printing, virtual reality, drones, microcomputers, and more. Using these tools, campers will learn to respond to real-time futuristic experiences of problem solving, communication, and community building. This focus is meant to frame technology as a source of great change, power, and responsibility, while also presenting the importance in understanding the significance of historical achievements in the progress of the future.
