Office of Student Engagement
Welcome to our page! The Office of Student Engagement encourages, supports and complements student learning by providing quality services and programs that enrich students' academic, social, cultural, ethical, and intellectual growth. We provide a range of services to promote social, cultural, academic, and wellness integration. Our activities reflect and enhance goal definition, facilitate interaction with faculty, and assist students with achievement of high expectations and aspirations.
Student Orientation, Advising, & Registration (SOAR)
New students are required to participate in new student orientation called SOAR 100 prior to registering for classes. SOAR 100 - "Student, Orientation, Advising, & Registration" - helps students become familiar with College services, policies and regulations, social and recreational activities, and campus facilities. SOAR 100 is provided through the Student Services Center. New students can schedule a time to attend the orientation by calling 875-7211, ext. 267.
