Welcome to our page! The Office of Student Engagement encourages, supports and complements student learning by providing quality services and programs that enrich students' academic, social, cultural, ethical, and intellectual growth. We provide a range of services to promote social, cultural, academic, and wellness integration. Our activities reflect and enhance goal definition, facilitate interaction with faculty, and assist students with achievement of high expectations and aspirations.
New Student Orientation should be attended by all new degree or certificate-seeking students. Orientation will assist new students in getting acquainted with Richland’s technology, student services, as well as student rights and responsibilities and college expectations. New Student Orientation is provided through the Office of Student Engagement, Room C133. For questions, you can contact 217-875-7211 ext. 6243.
