Special Events

Richland Community College is highly experienced in hosting a variety of activities from conventions and trade shows to corporate meetings and events. We are recognized as a leader throughout the Midwest for our customer service and expertise in meeting planning. The College’s facilities include two grand salons, a 325 seat auditorium, and over a half-dozen meeting and conference rooms in the Shilling Community Education Center.

Our Campus

Richland Community College is located in Decatur, Illinois, the heart of Central Illinois. Richland serves its District with the main campus, in Decatur, and two extension centers. The College’s main campus resides on a site of 155 acres of land. Following substantial growth and expansion, Richland currently contains 293,590 square feet.

Campus Facilities

Richland's main campus and grounds house approximately 100 classrooms and labs for academic use. Additionally, there are public spaces allotted for the art gallery, auditorium, and other non-academic uses.
