This course will teach participants advanced high angle rescue techniques. Students will learn patient packaging and victim retrieval techniques for high angle applications. The course reviews the use of ropes and equipment as well as their applications for belaying and repelling. In addition, students are shown how to develop team-building skills. The majority of this training consists of hands-on exercises testing the students’ abilities to work in a team setting.

This course teaches the use of Supplied Air Respirators (air carts or plant air supplies). The training includes information from OSHA’s Respiratory Standard as well as practical exercises.
