Vertical Rescue II

Purpose:

This course will teach participants advanced high angle rescue techniques. Students will learn patient packaging and victim retrieval techniques for high angle applications. The course reviews the use of ropes and equipment as well as their applications for belaying and repelling. In addition, students are shown how to develop team-building skills. The majority of this training consists of hands-on exercises testing the students’ abilities to work in a team setting.

Skid-Steer Operator Training Course

Purpose:

Each participant will learn the operations and safety features of the Skid-Steer Loader. They will receive classroom instruction alone with Hands-on operator training. Participants will operate and will be evaluated on Skid-Steer Loader.

Scaffold Competent Person Training

Purpose:

OSHA defines a Competent Person as one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them. Participants will be presented with the information needed to become a Competent Person in the area of Scaffolding.
