Mobile Team Challenge is designed to teach teamwork and life skills. This is done by teaching that a group can succeed at each task by working together as a team through cooperation, planning, trust, support, and communication. At the completion of each task, debriefing takes place aimed at helping participants self-discover what it is they did, how they did it, and what they learned that can be taken into their lives.
Each year a group of Surgical Technology students have participated in a day-long event. Student comments:
-
"Sometimes more heads are better than one."
-
"That you can accomplish a lot as a team."
-
"It was an eye-opening experience."
-
"It helped me see a lot about my personal life that I didn't want to see."
-
"An excellent opportunity to get to know everyone."
-
"Lots of good examples of practical applications for lessons learned."
