Physical Education

A major in physical education prepares students for a career in a fitness-related field and a healthy life-style.  Physical education majors are needed around the country in virtually every industry to help those struggling with weight and health issues become healthy.

Richland offers several classes in physical education that will satisfy general elective requirements at most colleges and universities upon transfer. See also the Richland Community College Fitness Center for information about non-credit fitness courses, and the non-credit schedule for other fitness programs like tai-chi, yoga, and belly dancing.
