Begin Filling Out Your FAFSA Oct. 1!

Applicable for Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019
The FASFA has a new log in system!  Go to fsaid.ed.gov to create your FSA ID and password.
Apply at www.fafsa.gov

When instructed, use the “Link to IRS” tool on the FAFSA to transfer tax/income information.

All students will need (if applicable):
2016 tax and income information
Current bank statements and records of stocks, bonds, and other investments
Records of 2016 untaxed income, such as workers’ compensation, untaxed portion of pensions, IRA distributions, and child support received or paid

Dependent students (per the Department of Education’s definition) will also need the above information for their parents, including social security numbers and dates of birth.  Parents will also need to create an FSA ID and password.

Don’t forget to apply for Richland Foundation Scholarships. The application is in myRichland in the My Student Info tab as Scholarships (RCC Foundation).
