The Richland Community College Career/Job Fair will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2013, 12 noon to 5 p.m. This annual event showcases more than 40 employers and is sponsored by the Illinois workNet Center partners and Richland Community College. The event is open to Richland students and the general public.

In addition, the Mobile Veterans Center (MVC) will be in front of Shilling that day! The MVC is a 39-foot motor coach, with space for confidential counseling. It carries Vet Center counselors and outreach workers to provide non-medical counseling, and addresses the social and economic needs of Veterans. Service includes counseling for traumatic military-related experiences and family counseling when needed for the Veteran's readjustment. Vet Centers, operated by the VA Readjustment Counseling Service, provide high quality, non-medical readjustment counseling free of charge to Combat Veterans and their families in an easily accessible and trusting atmosphere. Walk-ins are welcome.
