Have you completed your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for Fall 2013? Some financial aid is awarded on a first-come first-served basis, so get your FAFSA done early! To get help with your application, make plans now to attend Richland Community College’s College Goal Sunday event on Saturday, February 23, 2013. It will be held 11am – 2pm at Richland’s Fairview Park Plaza Extension Center, 1500 West King Street, in Decatur. This event is open to any student attending college in Fall 2013.

Participants will need to bring the following:

• 2012 tax returns, 2012 W-2 forms, social security number
• Records of savings, stocks, bonds, other investments, and business/farm assets
• Records of untaxed income (child support paid/received and workers’ compensation)
• Alien registration number (non-US citizen)
• Dependent students will need to bring the above items for their parents (including dates of birth)

Refreshments will be served, and participants can enter for a chance to win a $100 door prize provided by College Goal Sunday.
