Vice-President, Student and Academic Services

Richland Community College invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President of Student and Academic Services. The Vice President serves as the Chief Academic and Student Services Officer. The Vice President provides leadership and guidance in the areas of curriculum development, academic methodology, program assessment, on-line learning, and the development of community dialogues and partnerships. Reporting to the Vice President are the Deans of three academic divisions: Mathematics and Sciences; Communications, Education, Humanities, & Fine Arts; and Health Professions. Also reporting to the Vice President are: the Assistant to the Vice President; Executive Administrative Assistant; Director of Online Learning; Dean of Enrollment Services; and Dean of Teaching and Learning Support Services. 

The Vice President of Student and Academic Services must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as solid collaboration and consensus-building skills. The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field. A Doctorate degree is preferred. The position requires eight years of related college administrative experience, with higher education academic experience preferred.
