It Pays to Apply for a Foundation Scholarship

Everyone should apply:
      - Regardless of GPA
      - Full-time or part-time student status
      - Entering freshman or returning student

Many scholarships are available:
      - Financial need-based
      - Merit-based

The Scholarship Committee matches the appropriate scholarship to a student’s degree, major, and other factors.

Deadlines for application:
      - Fall Semester – Early April for high school students graduating in May
      - Fall Semester – Late May for returning students
      - Spring Semester – Early November

Specific deadlines are posted in myRichland each semester.

Applications are available online at myRichland.

New Students

Before applying for a Richland Foundation Scholarship:
- Fill out the Admission Information Form.
- Obtain a student ID number. (An ID number is necessary to gain access to myRichland.)
- Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Start the online scholarship application process by logging onto myRichland and following either of the two options:

1. Under “It Pays to Apply,” select the “Click here to apply” link.

2. Select the link - "Apply for a Richland Foundation Scholarship.”

3. Complete the online application form.

1. Select "My Student Info" from the tabs at the top of the page.

2. Select "Richland Foundation Scholarships" from the menu on the left side of the page.

3. Select the link - "Apply for a Richland Foundation Scholarship.”

4. Complete the online application form.

 

Returning or Current Students

Start the online scholarship application process by logging onto myRichland and following either of the two options:

1. Under “It Pays to Apply,” select the “Click here to apply” link.

2. Select the link - "Apply for a Richland Foundation Scholarship.”

3. Complete the online application form.

1. Select "My Student Info" from the tabs at the top of the page.

2. Select "Richland Foundation Scholarships" from the menu on the left side of the page.

3. Select the link - "Apply for a Richland Foundation Scholarship.”

4. Complete the online application form.

 

All students will receive notification concerning award status via Richland e-mail or by logging onto myRichland and checking the status in the “Richland Foundation Scholarships” section.
