Applying for Foundation Scholarships
The application for the Richland Foundation Scholarships is now online in myRichland. Follow the steps in the correct category below to access the application.
New Students
To apply for any of the Richland Foundation Scholarships, students new to Richland must complete the following steps:

Complete the online Admission Information Form.
Upon completion of the application, a Richland ID number will be mailed to you, or you may visit the Student Services Center on campus, with a picture ID, to obtain your student ID number. You will need your Richland ID number for step 3 below. Learn more about Richland's Admission Process. -
Complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
Request information be submitted to Richland Community College (School Code: 010879). It may take 3-5 business days after completion of your FAFSA for the information to transfer to Richland. Learn more about Richland's Office of Financial Aid. -
Once the items in #1 and #2 above have been completed, log in to myRichland to complete the Richland Foundation Scholarship Application.
- Log in to myRichland - myRichland is the portal to personalized services at Richland Community College. If you are not a current student, you will need the Richland ID number you received after you filled out the Admission Information Form in Step 1 above in order to log in to myRichland. Put your Richland ID number in User Name box, and put your birthday in MMDDYY format in the Password box, then click "Login." Contact the Online Learning Help Desk at 217-875-7211, ext. 376 if you experience difficulties logging in to myRichland.

Once logged in to myRichland, follow this path to access the Foundation Scholarship Application Form.
- Select "My Student Info" from the tabs at the top of the page.
- Select "Richland Foundation Scholarships" from the menu on the left side of the page.
- Select "Apply for a Richland Foundation Scholarship" from the content in the Richland Foundation Scholarships portlet.
- Complete the application form.
Application Deadline for Students Graduating from High School in May 2013
The scholarship application deadline for the Fall 2013 Semester is April 5, 2013 for all students graduating from high school in May 2013. All students will receive notification concerning award status via e-mail, or by logging in to myRichland and checking status in the "Richland Foundation Scholarships" portlet.
Application Deadline for New Students who are not graduating from High School in May 2013
The scholarship application deadline for the Fall 2013 Semester is June 7, 2013 for all new students who are not graduation from high school in May 2013. All students will receive notification concerning award status via e-mail, or by logging in to myRichland and checking status in the "Richland Foundation Scholarship" portlet.
Returning or Current Students
- Log in to myRichland with your Richland NetID and password. If you are a returning student and your NetID and password are no longer active, you can log in with your Richland ID number in User Name box, and put your birthday in MMDDYY format in the Password box, then click "Login." Contact the Online Learning Help Desk at 217-875-7211, ext. 376 if you experience difficulties logging in to myRichland.

The scholarship application deadline for the Fall 2013 Semester is June 7, 2013 for all returning students and new students who did not graduate from high school in 2013. All students will receive notification concerning award status via Richland e-mail, or by logging in to myRichland and checking the status in the "Richland Foundation Scholarship" portal.
