National Community College Benchmarking Project -Data used for community college benchmarking and peer comparisons regarding completion and transfer, retention and persistence, student performance, satisfaction and engagement, job market, and other institutional effectiveness metrics.
National Center for Higher Education Management Systems (NCHEMS) -Mission is “to improve strategic decision making in higher education for states and institutions in the United States and abroad.” National and state reports on accountability, assessment, finance, governance, information and technology, and policy are available.
The Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education -A classification system of colleges and universities using six characteristics: basic classification, undergraduate and graduate instructional program classifications, enrollment profile, undergraduate profile classification, and size and setting classification. Can be used for peer comparisons
