Richland Community College contracts with the Illinois Department of Corrections to provide occupational, job preparedness, and additional post-secondary courses to offenders housed at several correctional center sites. Thirty-five full-time College faculty and staff provide educational services at Decatur Correctional Center, Lincoln Correctional Center, Logan Correctional Center, Jacksonville Correctional Center, Pittsfield Work Camp, and Pontiac Correctional Center. Adjunct faculty also provide general studies courses on a limited basis. The office of the Correctional Education Programs Division is located on campus in W206.
