Richland Community College contracts with the Illinois Department of Corrections to provide occupational, job preparedness, and additional post-secondary courses to offenders housed at several correctional center sites. Fifteen full-time College faculty and staff provide educational services at Decatur Correctional Center, Lincoln Correctional Center, Logan Correctional Center, and Pontiac Correctional Center. Adjunct faculty also provide general studies courses on a limited basis. The office of Correctional Education Programs is located on campus in W206.
