SOCIO100 - People, Society, and Culture

Description:SOCIO100 is designed to provide an opportunity for students to develop a basic understanding of how culture, society, and groups in which they live and participate affect their lives. The course also can serve as a foundation for those who wish to familiarize themselves with fundamental concepts about behavior of people in groups prior to beginning a formal study of sociology. Students who have earned credit for SOCIO 110 should not register for this course except upon special approval of the Dean of Mathematics and Sciences and may receive credit toward graduation for only one of these two courses.
