| Description: | SLRN 293 is designed to provide students with opportunities to engage in their larger community through volunteer activities and service to the community. Students work with the Director of Campus Life and an appropriate faculty member to address community problems, to achieve real outcomes for the community, to gain deeper understanding and awareness of their community, and to develop skills that will enable them to become better citizens. Students are awarded course credit based on the scope of their service learning experience. Repeatable - 3 times. |
