RADT 116 - Radiation Physics

Description:RADT 116 is designed to establish a basic knowledge of atomic structure and terminology. Also presented are the nature and characteristics of radiation, x-ray production and the fundamentals of photon interactions with matter.

Prerequisite(s):completion of RADT 101, RADT 102 and RADT 108 with a grade of "C" or better and concurrent enrollment in or completion with a grade of "C" or better in RADT 110, RADT 115, RADT 118, and BIOL 101
