MATH 090 - Pre-Algebra
| Description: | MATH 090 is designed to teach the use of fractions, mixed numbers, and decimal numbers in any and all operations. It is also designed to teach procedures for solving simple word problems. The concepts of area, percent, ratio, and order of operations are introduced. The beginning concepts of algebra are practiced thoroughly. Some of the basic concepts of spatial geometry including pyramids, spheres, and cones are integrated in the course. |
