IT 282 - Dynamic Web Development

Description:IT 282 presents the student with a comprehensive introduction to Dynamic HTML client-side website development using scripting (JavaScript, VBScript, and ActionScript) and coding to enhance the performance and functionality of a website. Particular attention is given to client-side applications of JavaScript and ActionScript (via Flash applications). An introduction to AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) will also be presented. Students will also be given an opportunity to utilize website development tools including web-authoring, graphics, and multimedia tools. Students will learn to use these tools to add new functionality and design flare to their websites. This course requires the student to build multiple web pages and implement at least one major website design.
