Description:HUMAN201 has the student practice interpreting works of art, literature, and music. Various contexts for this interpretation will be used each time the course is offered, such as an emphasis of the historical period, the aesthetic analysis of the works, the cultural and philosophical background, or the relationships with the lives of the creators. This context will be specified each term the course is offered.

Prerequisite(s):completion of or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 101, either admission to the Honors Opportunities Program or a 3.0 GPA, and permission of the instructor
