ED 100 - Introduction to Public Education

Description:ED 100 is designed for students considering a career in teaching and for individuals who wish to become better informed about the foundations of American education. The course reviews changing concepts in public education in America and examines the duties and responsibilities of the classroom teacher. Discussion of current issues and problems in education is included. Students are required to complete fifteen hours of observation in a classroom setting.
