ECE 230 - Early Childhood Program Management

Description:ECE 230 is designed to develop the knowledge and skills in administration and supervision for persons presently engaged in the administration of child care programs as well as for those who aspire to do so. Principles and practices, organization and supervision of staffs, budgets, record keeping, filing, office equipment usage, and legal responsibilities are studied. Equipment and plant operation are topics also included.

Prerequisite(s):successful completion of ENGL 101, completion of a sufficient portion of the Early Childhood program to justify a learning experience in program management, and permission of the Early Childhood Education Professor and/or Dean
