CRJ 126 - Emergency Telecommunications

Description:CRJ 126 introduces learners to police telecommunications center operations. The course examines what a telecommunicator is, the responsibilities of a telecommunicator, and the importance of the telecommunicator within the organizational structure. Radio basics, proper broadcast procedures, telephone techniques, records systems, dispatching and handling crisis calls for assistance are covered. Role-playing will occur within a variety of scenario contexts.
