ART 295 - Workplace Simulation & Projects

Description:ART 295 provides the student the opportunity to work on a real or simulated project under the guidance of a graphic arts faculty member. The faculty member will provide supervision as needed for the project, and students will devote approximately 10 hours per week to the project. Projects for this course can be developed by an employer, an entity in the community, an employee of the College, a faculty member, or the student. Participating students are to present a written proposal outlining the scope of work to the graphic arts faculty member within the first two weeks of the semester. The student(s) must meet with the instructor to determine specific objectives for the project, timelines, credit to be awarded for the project, criteria for successful completion of the project, and other guidelines for the course.

Prerequisite(s):completion of 45 credit hours toward an AAS degree in Graphic Arts or approval of the Dean
