Description:ANTHR120 is an introduction to physical anthropology, with a primary focus on human evolution. It includes elements of evolutionary biology, genetics, paleoanthropology, archaeology, and the study of non-human primates. We will discuss the methodology of physical anthropology, the fossil record and archaeological evidence for hominid biology and behavior, and the variation found in modern human populations.
