Richland Child Development Center Fees and Payment Policies

  • Parents are required to pay for child care expenses either by mailing their payment or by paying personally at the cashier's window in the Business Office at the beginning of each week.  Regular child care bills will no longer be mailed to parents. (Additional expenses such as "drop-in" time will be mailed.)
  • A $10.00 registration fee is due for each child per each semester when children are registered.
  • The minimum block of time a child can attend is 2 hours for $5.00.
  • Lunch may be purchased for an additional $2.25 for children who attend on a part time basis, but the center must be notified before 9:00 a.m.
  • If household income is less than $25,000 a year, the daily rate is $22.00 or $110.00 per week. If household income is greater than $25,000 a year, the daily rate is $25.00 or $125.00 per week. The cost of providing lunch is included in these rates.
  • Child Care Resource Services, Workforce Investment Solutions, Department of Rehabilitative Services, and PELL are some of the financial resources available to assist with child care expenses.
  • Parents who are anticipating child care assistance from Child Care Resource Service or any other agency are responsible for paying co-pays at the beginning of each week (if applicable). Parents may be responsible for paying Child Care costs until approval has been received from the agency.
  • Parents MUST notify the child care staff whenever there is a change of the agreed reserved time or if they have withdrawn their children from the center's program.  Absences due to parents having withdrawn from their classes and/or from children no longer attending the Center will continue accumulating charges UNTIL parents have personally notified the center staff.
