International Studies Opportunities

To meet the global demands of employment in the 21st Century, Richland Community College encourages students to expand their understanding of other cultures through a number of international and domestic studies opportunities. Richland faculty organize educational opportunities for students to travel abroad and earn college credit. Students are responsible for any costs incurred; Pell grant funds may be used to cover tuition and fees for some programs.

In addition, as a member of the Illinois Consortium of International Studies and Programs, Richland offers students the opportunity to attend universities in other countries and receive credit to apply to Richland degrees. Students may apply for acceptance into a number of programs, including study in Costa Rica, England, Austria, Ireland, Australia, China, and the Netherlands. Pell Grant funds may be used to cover tuition and fees for some programs. Information on these programs is available at http://www.icisp.org/ICISP/index.htm.
